Jiu Jitsu Head Instructor/Managing Partner has made his  mark in the Grappling Industry.  Richards accolades include:  Wrestling,  NCAA 3X All American for San Francisco State University, 132 career Wins.  IBJJF  (International Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Federation) Blackbelt, Master 5X World Champion.  

His journey started as a young man in High-School with Wrestling, he quickly found himself in love with the competitiveness and brotherhood the sport offered.  He continued his dreams in College and in the Army. Rich is very well respected in the Wrestling Arena.

He was introduced to Jiu Jitsu 20 years ago by Jay Janeiro, Black Belt, Owner of Evolve Training Center.   He quickly embraced the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle.  He adds, Jiu Jitsu was very natural for me, but I believe it gave my life a  deeper meaning.  I believe,  "Jiu jitsu transforms lives for the better, there's a level of intelligence  in combination with movement that satisfies and feeds the brain and body. Like Human Chess,  It''s a beautiful thing".

Head Instructor for Wrestling/Partner. Dominic Boutain started his Wrestling Career in High School becoming a State Placer Runner Up. He continued his love for the sport while attending CalPoly and was highly recognized in the circuit. NCAA Div I Pac 10 Place Winner. 

Dominic found himself in the Wrestling Circuit with Rich Goodwin and later the two found themselves as Head Coaches for Benicia High School and Benicia Middle School.  The Benicia team produced Several State Placers and would upset Wrestlers in their League by holding the League Title for 10 years. 

Dominic was introduced to Jiu Jitsu by Rich Goodwin. Rich Goodwin says, it felt great to honor my brother with his well earned Purple Belt.  Dominic‘s first NoGi IBJJF event was exciting as he took home the Silver. 

Rich adds, Dom’s experience in Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu makes him a dangerous competitor on and off the mat.
